This web
site helps you identify Centrally Scheduled University Instructional Space
based on specified characteristics and/or equipment. Once you've identified a
specific room, you may then see a photo of the room, a list of its detailed
characteristics and check to see if it is available for scheduling when you
need it.
UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY CLASSROOMS
Identify
classrooms equipped with specified technology characteristics and/or equipment.
Use this site to identify rooms that meet your technology needs. Includes
equipment list and a Quick Reference Guide which is available both on-site and

available via the Instructional Space Web) Submit problems, concerns or
suggestions you may have regarding Classrooms/University Instructional space
via this electronic form. The Office of Facilities Planning & Space
Management receives these requests, and works with the appropriate University
units to respond to your submissions.
EMERGENCY
GUIDELINES:
Building
specific emergency guidelines are being posted in hallways by the Department of
Police & Public Safety. Please make yourself aware of the emergency
guidelines for the particular room/building that you are teaching in and share
this information with your students. Green light emergency phones have been
installed in hallways at Bessey Hall, Berkey Hall, Natural Science and Wells
Hall. In addition, should an emergency arise in a classroom, faculty and
students are encouraged to utilize a personal cell phone, if available, to seek
assistance.
CLASSROOM
CONDITIONS:
Faculty are
encouraged to remind students of their role as stewards of the University
classrooms, i.e. to discard and/or recycle food and beverage containers and
newspapers that are brought into the classroom. Classrooms should have a waste
container and/or a recycling bin for easy use.
